Terms of Service

By accessing or using RarityRange, creating an account, or participating in the founding beta, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use RarityRange.

RarityRange is a collection-management and market-intelligence platform for trading-card collectors. Features may include card scanning, collection tracking, market information, portfolio analytics, watchlists, alerts, artificial intelligence tools, and card-show assistance.

RarityRange is currently under active development. Features, data sources, availability, and functionality may change as the platform improves.

RarityRange may be offered as a beta or early-access service. Beta features may contain errors, experience interruptions, change without notice, or produce incomplete results.

You should maintain your own records of important collection information. We cannot guarantee that beta data, uploaded content, pricing history, or account information will always be available or error-free.

Feedback submitted during the beta may be used to improve RarityRange, but you retain ownership of any original content contained in your feedback.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure of RarityRange.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may request account deletion through the available account settings or support page. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving disputes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use RarityRange. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

RarityRange is not intended to facilitate purchases by children without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

RarityRange may use artificial intelligence to identify cards, extract card details, compare marketplace information, and generate collection insights.

Artificial intelligence can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing scan results, card identities, parallels, serial numbers, conditions, prices, and recommendations before relying on them.

RarityRange results should be treated as helpful estimates and organizational tools—not professional authentication, grading, appraisal, financial, tax, or investment advice.

Market values, recent sales, active listings, price estimates, confidence scores, recommendations, and other market information may come from third-party sources, user submissions, automated calculations, or historical data.

Trading cards can be illiquid and prices can change quickly. Asking prices do not necessarily represent completed-sale values.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, freshness, availability, or future performance of any pricing information. You are responsible for deciding whether to buy, sell, hold, grade, insure, or trade a card.

You retain ownership of card photographs, collection information, notes, feedback, and other content you submit to RarityRange.

You grant RarityRange a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, resize, analyze, and transmit your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content you submit and that it does not violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.

You may not upload unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, malicious, or harmful content.

You may not misuse RarityRange, attempt to bypass security controls, access another user’s account, interfere with the service, introduce malicious software, scrape the platform without permission, or use the service for unlawful activity.

You may not use RarityRange to deceive buyers or sellers, misrepresent a card, fabricate market information, or falsely claim that a card has been authenticated or professionally appraised by RarityRange.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, data, the platform, or third-party services.

RarityRange may connect with outside services that provide hosting, authentication, artificial intelligence, payment processing, marketplace information, pricing data, or other functionality.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for interruptions, changes, errors, or content controlled by those providers.

Names, trademarks, and marketplace data belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless explicitly stated.

Some RarityRange features may become paid features in the future. Prices, billing periods, included features, and cancellation terms will be shown before a purchase is completed.

Payments made through an app store or payment provider may also be governed by that provider’s terms. RarityRange will not charge you for a paid plan without presenting the applicable price and receiving authorization.

Material changes to a recurring subscription price will be communicated before they take effect when required.

RarityRange and its original software, design, branding, interfaces, calculations, documentation, and platform content are owned by RarityRange or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These terms give you permission to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of RarityRange technology or branding to you.

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of RarityRange as the product develops. We will try to communicate significant changes when reasonably possible.

We do not promise that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RarityRange is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties about uninterrupted availability, market results, card identification, pricing accuracy, profitability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RarityRange will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, loss of data, marketplace decisions, card transactions, or reliance on automated results.

RarityRange is not a party to transactions between collectors, dealers, marketplaces, or other third parties.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

You may stop using RarityRange at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these terms, unlawful conduct, fraud, security threats, or activity that harms other users or the platform.

When reasonably appropriate, we will attempt to provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

If you download RarityRange through Apple, Google, or another app marketplace, your use may also be subject to that marketplace’s applicable terms and license agreement.

Unless a separate custom license is provided, an app marketplace’s standard end-user license may apply to the downloaded application.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this section removes consumer protections or legal rights that apply to you under mandatory law.

We may update these terms as RarityRange develops. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required. Continuing to use RarityRange after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
